The Sealyham Terrier dog is loyal, loving, spirited and affectionate. One owner describes them as "the most beautiful union between cheerfulness and courage."
They are rather more reserved than the average Terrier and can be a little aggressive towards other dogs. They are difficult to train but have a native ability to hunt and track.
They are better with older children who will treat them with the respect they deserve.
