German Spitz Information

The German Spitz is roughly similar to a miniature German Shepard that comes in a few varieties: Giant (Deutscher Gross Spitz), Standard (Deutscher Mittel Spitz), and Toy (Deutscher Spitz Klein). The Giant comes in white, brown and black, while the Standard and Toy types come in a wider range of coloring.

Toy German Spitz Dogs

The breeds are happy alert dogs with a natural ability as a watchdog. They can be temperamental and require a lot of attention and will even become very demanding if the owner allows it. They are difficult to train, but make a great looking showdog.

The German Spitz is NOT recommended for children, as they can become snappy.
