The Chihuahua is a good toy dog, lively, intelligent, affectionate to their owner(s), and strong-willed. They can become so attached to their owners, though, that they will get jealous. They are not patient with teasing children and may bite, they can be quite noisy, and require extra socialization training if friendliness toward strangers is desired.
