Although the Bulldog looks mean and intimidating, it is known to be one of the gentlest of dogs. Still, the look makes this a dog one which intruders won't want to mess with.
The English Bulldog loves attention and needs authoritative, strict training. They are energetic as puppies but slow down with age. They are not the quietest dogs as they can snore rather loudly. They are also known to leave drool and slobber around the house.
