The Belgian Griffons is also grouped with the Griffon Belge, Griffon Bruxellois, Brussels Griffon, and Petit Brabancon and sometimes the Brussels Griffon. Regardless of which breed you are looking for, they are sturdy toy dogs. They often have a black and tan coat.

The temperament of the Belgian Griffons is that of an intelligent, cheerful dog with a terrier like disposition. They are good as a companion dog, although they can be willful and high strung. Simply put, this breed loves to be pampered and is probably not the best dog for little kids.
