The Affenpinscher is a small dog with a rough shaggy coat and long facial hair. You won't find this to be a delicate dog, as it is a smaller version of the Working Terrier.

The Affenpinscher has a standard terrier-like personality with the exception that it gets along better with other dogs. They do have a bold playful temperament with a strong streak of stubbornness. It's a protective, good family dog, but does need consistent firm training
